Bookkeeper/ Accounting technician required for young vibrant engineering company located in Squamish, BC. The person should be familiar with Simply Accounting and/ or other Accounting Packages such as QuickBooks. The ideal candidate would have 3 or more years of bookkeeping / accounting experience (payables, receivables, payroll etc.) be detail orientated and enjoy working in an office environment. Required Skills and Assets:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with payroll, payables and receivables bookkeeping cycles
- Computer literate - MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience working with ERP and/or document control software considered an asset
- Ability to properly handle confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Valid driver's license

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing payroll, including benefits and reimbursements
- Overseeing payable entry and processing payments
- Invoicing customers and processing receipts
- Monthly reconciliations and analysis
- Maintaining the document control system
- Transmitting, expediting and receiving documents to/from clients and vendors
